2011 is proving to be very popular in the Lanzarote. Tourism figures are at 2010 and the summer species in relation to time. Lanzarote is not really a seasonal vacation spot, although, as year-round warm climate that helps attract tourists and holiday makers 12 months of the year.
This bodes well for tourism in Lanzarote, such as time in the UK and northern Europe began to be, and people seem to escape the miserable gray to bright blue, just a few hours away, in the Canary Islands.

If you're an extreme sports enthusiast and then head on to Famara. Famara beach is popular with windsurfers and kite surfing professionals, often holding professional events that are well worth seeing, although they tend to be held during the summer months.
natural attractions on Lanzarote is always worth a visit. Even if you've been there before Timanfaya National Park sits as a magnificent reminder of the islands of fiery past. Take a bus tour of the park, and then feast at the restaurant El Diablo with a meal prepared in the natural volcanic grill!
Of course, if only a beach holiday you're looking for then Lanzarote does not disappoint. There are a number of beautiful beaches dotted around the coast, where you can relax and enjoy the winter air. Do not expect a beach to be too quiet, even though they are generally less busy in winter months, especially if you visit while the children in school.
So, while Lanzarote is definitely a summer destination, it is also very popular during the winter months as people look to escape the cold of northern Europe to the mystical island that offers a little something for everyone.
